A Kinder Relationship With Yourself Is Possible.
MEET SHELLY JOHNSON
Creating Space for Self-Discovery and Healing
I’m Shelly Johnson, a Licensed Mental Health Counseler and Certified Internal Family Systems Therapist.
My approach to therapy is relational, experiential, and deeply grounded in compassion. Rather than viewing difficult emotions or behaviors as problems that need to be removed, I help people become curious about the parts of themselves that carry fear, pain, protection, responsibility, or old beliefs.
When those parts feel seen, heard, and understood, we create the possibility for a more connected relationship with ourselves – and with the people around us.
MY APPROACH
Therapy That Honors the Whole Person

INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS
IFS helps us recognize and understand the different parts that make up our internal world. We approach them with curiosity and compassion-allowing us to understand what they may need.

MIND BODY CONNECTION
Our experiences do not exist only in our thoughts. I integrate somatic awareness to help develoro a deeper connection with both internal experiences and the nervous system.

INDIVIDUALIZED SUPPORT
There is no single formula for meaningful healing. My approach is personalized to the person in front of me, creating a supportive space for exploration, understanding, and growth.
